The Stag: Protector of Nature Ancient Spiritstm sells hand-made porcelain pendant jewellery decorated in astrological themes and Celtic motifs. Welcome to the pages for our Celtic motif jewellery! The stag, wild and untameable, was an important solar animal for the Celts. Its antlers, shed and regrown the following year, were symbolic of the Tree of Life, a receptacle of celestial powers, bringing renewed life and spiritual regeneration to all the earth. As a symbol of abundance, prosperity and virility, the stag represented the masculine side of the balance of nature and was the totem animal for the antlered deity Cernunnos, ruler and protector of water, animals and nature. Cernunnos often shape-shifted, adopting the form of a stag, and Celtic legend has numerous tales of a white stag as a divine messenger leading heroes on magical quests. Illustrated pendants are greatly magnified. Actual size of these pendants is just 1.5" (4.0cm) or less in diameter and about 0.125" (0.4cm) thick. Each pendant necklace is pierced by a ring and threaded through with a black silk cord for immediate use in wearing.
Price: $24 Cdn or $16 US.
